I am very excited to be releasing two new prints this month. The Efrafan is inspired by my favorite book from my childhood, Watership Down which is also about to be premiered as a mini series on Netflix.
In High Places is about the strange places our minds go when daydreaming. For some reason the pictures in my head always end up in some sort of twisted victorian fantasy realm full of birds and strange creature interactions - I'm happy to let it go there, but am always a bit curious myself on why this place exists for me.

Turn the Page: The First Ten Years of Hi-Fructose highlights 51 remarkable contemporary artists who have been featured in the pages of the popular art magazine Hi-Fructose. Despite differing levels of recognition, all the artists have a distinctive voice and vision. They come from around the world with different perspectives and approaches to art-making. Turn the Page offers the opportunity to view their original works beyond the flat worlds of paper and digital screens, where they are most often seen.
These diverse artists each demonstrate mastery of their chosen media—their work is characterized by vividly colored imagery that is graphically and carefully rendered with high attention to detail. From oil paintings and drawings, to porcelain and bronze sculptures, to video and mixed media artworks, both new and traditional artistic processes are represented. The subjects, images and ideas expressed in these artworks, however, are decidedly contemporary, responding to the world as we see it today. Though the artworks in Turn the Page are often informed by art history, they are also equally influenced by popular culture, current politics and globalization.
Artists Represented: Jennybird Alcantara, Barnaby Barford, Chris Berens, Tim Biskup, Tiffany Bozic, Ray Caesar, Victor Castillo, Beth Cavener, Kevin Cyr, Wim Delvoye, Gehard Demetz, Brian Dettmer, Fulvio Di Piazza, Ron English, Shepard Fairey, AJ Fosik, Camille Rose Garcia, Jeremy Geddes, Sam Gibbons, Femke Hiemstra, Scott Hove, James Jean, Audrey Kawasaki, Josh Keyes, Kris Kuksi, Travis Louie, Kate MacDowell, MARS-1, Marco Mazzoni, Brian McCarty, Tara McPherson, Scott Musgrove, Yoshitomo Nara, Lisa Nilsson, Olek, Parra, Marion Peck, Jean-Pierre Roy, Mark Ryden, Todd Schorr, Greg “Craola” Simkins, Tracey Snelling, Jeff Soto, Kazuki Takamatsu, Gary Taxali, Mark Dean Veca, Nicola Verlato, Wayne White, Kehinde Wiley, Martin Wittfooth and Erwin Wurm.
